Senior Hardware Engineer, Automotive Radar Division

Your Role:

• Define the system-wide architecture of the M-FAST (Metamaterials-Frequency Adaptive Steering Technology) platform for autonomous driving

• Communicate requirements and specifications to the hardware and software teams

• Collaborate with team members to build full-stack automotive radar solutions

• Perform other duties as necessary for completion of projects and achievement of goals.

 

Qualifications:

• M.S./Ph.D. in electrical engineering, robotics, or telecommunications, with at least 5 years of working experience in industry

• Experience designing, fabricating and testing antennas, electronically-steered arrays/ phased array antennas

• Familiarity with the performance characteristics of passive and active RF components including amplifiers, oscillators, attenuators, mixers and filters

• Expert at using EM commercial solvers such as CST Studio Suite and NI AWR

• Hands-on experience carrying experiments in RF anechoic chamber, and using RF test & measurement equipment such as vector network analyzer (VNA), signal and spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.

• Excellent programming skills, especially in MATLAB, and any scripting languages

Preferred:

• RF and millimeter-wave integrated circuits design, fabrication, and testing experience

• Experience with automotive or military radar, and/or working with automotive hardware
